FLOORING - I can put down interior and exterior tongue & groove wood flooring also glued and glueless interior simulated flooring such as "Pergo" and other simular brands.
I'll also apply self adhesive vinyl tiles, but I limit sheet vinyl installation to smaller single rooms, which I have done a few times, including the required underlayment sheeting plus any required floor leveling.
ROOFING- I prefer to limit my roofing skills to small repairs and required roofing needed for additions, garages and sheds. Even though I have many years of experience in roofing, as a one-man operation, like myself, I don't consider re-roofing a whole house as a primary project that I would do.
DRYWALL - Even though I've done a lot of drywall work, everything from hanging to finishing, I generaly keep my drywall services limited to smaller projects. For example, I'm probably not the guy that you'ld want to drywall your whole house, but I'm certainly qualified to hang and finish drywall for smaller areas such as room improvements, additions, kitchens and bathroom remodels.
INTERIOR TRIM CARPENTRY - I have a lot of experience with Trim Carpentry because I'm patient and have an eye for detail, Here's what I could do for you...
I will hang hinged, folding, sliding & pocket doors. All required extension jambs on doors and windows, including any style and/or system of interior casings & baseboard. I'll also build custom fireplace mantles, entertainment centers, put up wanes coteing, stairway railings, and other custom trim work.
DECKS - I could build the deck of your dreams, whether your style is custom or simple I'm only limited by your imagination. This would include an infinate amount of railing & stairway designs. "Nailess" decking systems and the use of composite and vinyl products instead of wood could also be a possabilty
Even though my construction experiences go far beyond the following list of my services, this page highlights the the type of work that I can do for you.
TRIM PAINTING WOOD FINISHING ( interior & exterior) This type of work for me just goes hand in hand with trim carpentry, doors and windows.
On painted trim I will prime, caulk all gaps and cracks, and fill all the nailhaloes before the final coat of quallity paint.
I will also give you a quality natural soft or hardwood finish using quality sealers stains and two coats of a quality oil based polyurethane/varish and all nail holes will be filled with a color matching (as close as possible) putty.
WALL & CEILING PAINTING - I will of course roll primer & paint on walls and ceilings too.
KITCHEN, BATHROOM, BASEMENT, BEDROOM, AND ALL OTHER ROOM IMPROVEMENTS & REMODELS -
At the risk of sounding repetetive, let me say that since I can combine the following skills..
I can combine all of these skills to do any 'smaller' remodels that you would like to have done by me.
ROUGH FRAMING Since I'm currently a soul propritor of my buisness I prefer to specialize in smaller projects such as garages, sheds, stairways and any miscellaneous framing required for additions, kitchens and bathroom remodels.
ELECTRICAL - I limit my knowlege to changing out and/or installing fans, lights, required switches and outlets. Beyond that I would refer you to a licensed electrical contractor
CONCRETE AND MASONRY - I limit my services to small areas of wall and floor tile. I could also be able to willing to do small areas of flat work like sidwalks.
Anything beyuod this type of work such as footings, walls, and large scale excavating, I would refer you to a licensed contractor .
PLUMBING - I limit my knowelge of plumbing to installing the finishing touches of installing toilets and sinks with or without garbage disposels. beyond this, I would refer you top a license plumber
Generaly speaking, I don't offer the services listed below, but since I do have enough knowledge and experience to do minor plumbing, electrical, concrete and masonry as what might be required during small remodel projects, I thought i'd mention my limitations. I will often hire out these skills to someone more qualified, depending on the size and scope of the job
